Save the Day Travelcard

The Mayor of London is proposing to scrap the Day Travelcard, which will have a detrimental effect on those travelling into London from the Home Counties.

This will mean that residents in the Home Counties will have to pay for the journey into London then pay again to get around the city.

Even in areas with Oyster and Contactless, it is often cheaper to use a day travelcard compared to pay as you go.

Scrapping day travelcards could cost £9.30 for every day trip into London and in the world of hybrid working, this could have a negative impact on London's economy and lead to further train service reduction.

You can help by signing this petition and sharing it with your friends. The more people who sign this, the stronger the message to City Hall is that we want to save the day travelcard.
