An ongoing saga locally is around the overgrown hedges blocking the path on Station Approach between The Grove and Horley Station.

I have been raising this with Network Rail as it's dangerous and causing people to have to walk in the road. And I've managed to get an update out of them.

They need to close Station Approach to carry out the works both on the path and at the junction with The Grove, and they're working on getting permission from Surrey Highways to carry out the works before the end of the year.

I will be making sure that they actually stick to this timeline and carry out the works because it will be really dangerous over the Autumn and Winter months if it's not sorted. I will keep you updated.
