Have your say on buses in Tandridge

You may remember that I have been campaigning to improve public transport in Caterham for the last two and a half years.

This has taken a positive step forward with Surrey County Council launching a consultation to introduce digital demand responsive transport to Tandridge similar to Northern Mole Valley and Sevenoaks. With this, you can order a bus from wherever you are and it will turn up and take you to your destination.

Having tried Sevenoaks' digital bus for myself, I can say that the system works really well and has helped better connect communities such as Edenbridge and Westerham to Sevenoaks. I would welcome this in Tandridge to connect Caterham, Lingfield and Godstone to Oxted and Redhill.
