Festive Football at Horley Town FC

As you may be aware of already, I am an avid follower of non-league football, and especially my local team Horley Town.

So I was pleased to be back at the New Defence before Christmas to watch the Clarets take on Epsom & Ewell in the Combined Counties Premier Division South with my friend Cllr Richard Biggs. There was a fantastic, festive atmosphere with lots of goodies on offer, including club merchandise, chocolate selection boxes and mince pies.

And we were gifted with an early Christmas present as Horley won the match 4-0. It's always fun watching the Clarets play and I look forward to being back at the New Defence in the New Year.
