I went to the Horley Christmas Fair earlier today to show my support for local organisations and businesses in the area and it was a lot of fun.
The event is an annual tradition kindly organised by the Horley Association of Traders (HATs) and is an opportunity for smaller businesses and organisations to share their work with the community.
A particular highlight for me personally was showing my support for the National Greyhound Centre, based in Horley and making friends with Eclipse and Cliff, two greyhounds looking to be homed and Robin, a lovely greyhound who enjoyed being stroked. You can find out more about their work here.
I also supported James Cafe & Bakery based on the High Street and had a wonderful hazelnut latte and RJ Aroma Hand Made Wax Melts & More, who sell various items including some delightful candles.
It was great speaking to so many residents of Horley at the fair and catching up with friends including Cllrs Samantha Marshall, Hannah Avery, Jordan Beech, Giorgio Buttironi, Christian Stevens, Andrew King and Jerry Hudson.
