Animals are loved by many in our community and are vital companions for so many of us. It isn't right that pets and animals suffer cruelty. I will work to ensure that there are better protections in the law for pets and wildlife in the UK, and stronger punishments for animal abusers.

I am an active supporter of the Greyhound Trust, which has its National Greyhound Centre locally in Horley and do a fantastic job in homing greyhounds.

I am also a supporter of the League Against Cruel Sports, and support their objectives to strengthen the ban on fox hunting.
