The overgrown hedge on Victoria Road between Limes Avenue and Horley Station has been a dangerous problem for months.

People in wheelchairs and pushchairs had to walk in the road to pass other pedestrians, and with the winter weather, it was hard to see the branches sticking out.

Some welcome news is after six months of constant pressure from local residents and I, Network Rail have finally cut back the hedge. It shouldn't have taken this long, but we got there in the end.

I'm hopeful that this will mean that Station Approach's hedges will be cut back by Network Rail. I'll keep you up to date on progress.
