Southdown Buses is merging with Metrobus on Saturday 2 September.
There will be no change to what you pay currently for single or return fares. Furthermore, Southdown already accept Metrovoyagers and Metroriders on their services.
Southdown Savers will no longer be provided after 2 September, but you will be able to use them until they expire only on former Southdown routes. Metrovoyager prices are similar to Southdown Saver prices however, and are valid on all Metrobus services across Surrey, Sussex and Kent including on former Southdown routes. And Metrovoyagers can be bought on the Metrobus app.
The Caterham Hoppa and Oxted Hoppa will still exist and the Caterham Hoppa will now be valid on the 400 bus. The Horley Hoppa will not exist after 2 September as it is covered entirely by the Crawley Metrorider zone.
TAP cards will no longer be accepted on Metrobus but they will accept all major contactless cards and prepay cards such as Revolut and Hyperjar.
