Accessible education in our villages in Dorking Hills has been a concern raised with me by many residents.

I was in Ockley speaking to residents and concerns have been raised around the threat being posed to rural schools in the community. Indeed, the Scott-Broadwood School in Ockley has closed in recent years due to a low intake and there's now a threat of the schools in Westcott and Capel closing as well.

Alongside the County Councillor for Dorking Rural Helyn Clack, I will work to address this important issue to residents and aim to ensure that every village in Dorking Hills and Mole Valley more widely has accessible education.
