More school places for our growing town

Horley needs more school places, across both primary and secondary schools. If we're going to make our growth a success, we need better school provision, including a second secondary school in Horley.

SEND education is under a lot of pressure nationally, and the system across the country needs fixing. I'm a former SEND pupil who knows about we need to do to make SEND education better.

There's spare boarding provision in East Surrey which isn't being used, which is a missed opportunity. SEND pupils could be learning basic life skills we all take for granted, like making a bed, or cooking food, or being able to buy something in a shop without help.

I'll work with Samantha Marshall and the new East Surrey Council to offer boarding to the students in SEND education who need it.
